Who is Annie Baker Photography?

I’m a self-taught photographer who picked up a camera at six and never looked back. My journey in photography started with just one class when I was eight, but the real learning came from countless hours spent behind the lens, exploring the world around me. When I received a better camera at 14, my passion truly took off. I started capturing everything I could find. In high school, my camera became my constant companion, and without even realizing it, I was building the foundation for my future. As I watched friends graduate and saw how expensive professional photography could be, I recognized a gap in the market. It didn’t feel right that families had to pay hundreds of dollars for only a few photos. Wanting to help, I started taking senior portraits for friends, and that’s when everything changed. What began as something simple quickly turned into something much bigger. In 2021, I officially launched my photography business. Now, as I approach five years in business at 22 years old, I’m incredibly proud of how far it’s come. I’ve worked hard to build a brand that provides high-quality images at accessible prices, because I truly believe everyone deserves to capture their most important moments without financial stress. Looking back at the work I created at 14, 17, 20, and now 22, the growth is undeniable, and it’s something I’m deeply proud of. Every session is an opportunity to create something meaningful, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal has always been simple: to create photos that feel real, genuine, and true to you, while making the experience comfortable, fun, and unforgettable.
