Some sessions mean more than others, and this was one of them. Being trusted as someone’s photographer is always an honor… but being chosen by someone you love? That’s a whole different level. Chiara isn’t just a client, she’s one of my best friends. Getting to capture such a huge milestone in her life felt incredibly special. We shot her graduation session right on campus at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where we both attend. It made everything feel full circle in the best way.

Chiara is the definition of light. She’s extra extroverted (her words, not mine), full of energy, creativity, and joy. From the second we started shooting, she was laughing, moving, and just fully herself, which made this session feel effortless and so her.
She told me she loves a mix of playful and soulful photos, and that’s exactly what we captured. One moment she’s laughing and tossing her grad cup in the air, the next she’s giving those calm, confident, “I did it” kind of moments. The balance was perfect. Her style leans boho and carefree, and it showed in every part of this shoot. Nothing felt forced, just natural, joyful, and full of personality. We didn’t need a ton of props (just the cap and gown), because she was the moment.

Can we talk about this girl for a second? She’s graduating with her Bachelor’s in Business, and she’s already planning on going back for not just one… but TWO master’s degrees (likely through either University of Colorado Denver or MSU Denver). Like? Insane. In the best way.
Chiara, I am so proud of you. Being your friend has been such a gift, and getting to document this chapter of your life is something I’ll never take lightly. This wasn’t just a graduation session; it was a celebration of who you are, where you’ve been, and everything you’re about to step into. I love you forever!
