Gonzales Baby Announcement

Some sessions feel magical from the very beginning, and this one absolutely did. Photographing my first-ever baby announcement for people I consider friends made this experience even more meaningful. Being trusted with a secret this big was such an honor, and keeping it quiet until their photoshoot day was definitely the hardest part!

We chose Evergreen Lake for their baby announcement, and it could not have been more perfect. Fresh snow covered the ground, the lake was frozen into a sheet of shimmering white, and the quiet winter air created the most peaceful backdrop. Their theme, “One More Reason to Be Merry,” tied everything together in the sweetest way, a Christmas announcement full of warmth, joy, and the magic of new beginnings.

If you know anything about Haleigh and Cameron, it’s that they are always up for something fun and a little wild. Back in October, during their couples photoshoot, they went fully into the lake fully clothed without a second thought, so it didn’t surprise me at all when they were instantly on board to lie down in the snow this time. Their excitement, playfulness, and love for each other make working with them such a joy.

Watching Haleigh step into motherhood and Cameron into fatherhood has been incredibly special. They shared with me how emotional, exciting, and life-changing this journey has already been, and it truly shines through in their images.
