Kourtnei x Forest

There’s something incredibly special about couples who carry adventure right in their hearts, and that’s precisely who Kourtnei and Forest are. Their love story began on a whim, and from that moment on, life has been filled with spontaneous memories, endless laughter, and a strong foundation built around family, connection, and joy. Photographing their engagement session was nothing short of a blast!

We kicked off our afternoon in the bold beauty of Eldorado Canyon, where wandering led us to a set of rustic train tracks, the perfect spot for playful, energetic shots that captured their extroverted personalities and love of fun. From princess spins to sweet embraces, it was impossible not to smile while photographing them.

We then ventured to open space overlooking Boulder. Soft fall colors, mountain views stretching across the skyline, and two people fully present with each other, it was a dream. They told me how they always spend time after work catching up and leaving stress at the door, and that love-first lifestyle truly radiates in every photo.

We wrapped up with the Flatirons glowing behind them, a must-stop location for adventurous Colorado couples. Their comfort with PDA and willingness to get a little messy made it easy to create natural, candid moments that show exactly who they are together: fun, flirty, and deeply connected.

I’m so honored to have captured this exciting chapter in their love story. Spending the day with them reminded me why I adore what I do, photographing real people in real love, surrounded by nature.
